Meeting Antoine at the annual champagne tastings was quite an eye opener. For us in the Bulles Bio tent, where he was only showing his vin clare, due to still being in the certification period with Demeter, they truly stood out. Beautiful concentration of fruit even from the 10 odd sites on chalk hills that his Chardonnay is planted on. Starting in 2016 with the purchase of his own vat room, where oak asides he also holds his experiments with amphora, some buried in the vineyard, porcelain and barrels. In 2023 he purchased his first press. It is unsurprising with the increased demand of grower Champagne, alongside Antoine already being voted young champagne winemaker of the year, that the demand is high for his wines, thankfully so is the quality.
