"Little Red" A Syrah from a vineyard planted in the 1930’. 50% direct pressed, de-stemmed and 50% whole bunch for 3 weeks then old barrel for the ageing. This is like a fresh cherry pie with loads of juicy red fruit, not as heavy as most Barossa Syrah but the fruit is concentrated and has mouth watering freshness. Something different, very Tom Shobbrook. 

A Barossa native, Tom studied agriculture before moving to Italy and spending 6 years working for Sean O’Callaghan of Tenuta di Carleone in Chianti Classico. In 2007 he returned to Australia and introduced the Barossa Valley to biodynamic, low intervention, natural winemaking - total anathema at that time.  His wines have gained somewhat of a cult status over the years and despite them not being on the UK market for over two years, many have welcomed them back with great excitement.
