A serious Nebbiolo here that will give most Barolo at the same price a run for its money. A fair bit of age already but upon opening you will realise that it's journey has only just started. There is plenty of complexity but still lots of freshness and solid tannins that don;t feel out of place but suggest that this would work best with some food. We'd recommend decanting it for a few hours before drinking as a bit of air really helps bring it to life. It'll also sit comfortably in a cellar for at least another 10 years but probably longer. 

Valtellina is an alpine region that continuously surprises us. Vineyards at high altitude with treacherously steep slopes. You can expect to find Nebbiolo that dances between elegant, cool and structured. Often at a surprisingly good price.
