Passetoutgrain — the traditional Burgundian blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay — is often overlooked, but in Bouley’s hands it becomes something joyful and exact. The 2022 shows bright red berries, lifted floral aromatics, and a supple palate carried by fresh acidity. Gamay lends crunch and immediacy, while Pinot Noir brings finesse and structure.

Lively, approachable, and full of charm, this is Burgundy at its most easygoing — perfect with charcuterie, roast chicken, or simply a glass on its own.
