The Horiot's started making still wines in Champagne before they produced their first sparkling. Unsurprisingly it is the latter that they are most known for but their Coteaux's are absolutely stunning. They come in tiny quantities, often only a barrel or two is made each year, subsequently just a few cases make it to the UK market. From the Limestone soils of En Valingrain, this is pure, powerful and linear. Stunning.
