From the top cru of Montlouis, with vines between 90 and 100 years old. Sitting just across the river from Vouvray, this Chenin Blanc has the richness and complexity you might expect from that famous neighbour, but it carries the distinctly mineral character of Montlouis. Full of energy yet balanced on a knife edge, it’s an outstanding expression of the grape—showing personality and depth without following trends. The vineyard is worked entirely by hand, with horses instead of machinery, and the wine is aged for one year in barrel, two years in tank, and a minimum of two years in bottle before release.
