These wines have somewhat of a cult following and thus are featured on the wine lists of many great bars and restaurants around the world. Juicy and sappy fruit is balanced by freshness then there is this hint of leather and tapenade on the finish. 

In the foothills of the Pyrénées, these high altitude vineyards experience a cacophony of extreme heat from the harsh southern sun, cold nights and heavy mountain rain. It was this balance of extremes that inspired winemaker Gérard Gauby to make wines at 660m above sea.
