A classic GSM blend with a couple of other local varieties (Grenache, Mourvède, Syrah, Muscardin and Black Terret.) This feels like pure southern Rhone. There is lots of fruit here as well as some peppery spice and slatey minerality. If you want the "Châteauneuf" experience then this really delivers. From the newly upgraded area of Suze La Rousse, on sand / clay and limestone soils in the village of Tulette. Aged for a year in barrel before bottling.
