From a 50 years old single vineyard owned by late, great Jules Chauvet. So farmed without any conventional treatments for around 30 years. Fermented and matured in fibreglass and cement. All of Karim's wines have a lovely balance of freshness, fruit and complexity. If you like the juicier side of gamay, this is the one for you. 

Born in Lyon to Arabic heritage and raised in Morgon, Karim spent a decade working with Beaujolais legends Guy Breton and Marcel Lapierre before starting his own project as a négociant. He organically farms and vinifies 5 hectares of old-vine Gamay, using minimal sulphur and meticulous temperature control to preserve purity and fruit.
