From the highest point of the Beaujolais Region, Chiroubles, sat on Granitic soil. The wine has a darker fruit profile, damsons and blueberries, and a slight violet note. Fermented in fibre glass and then the wine spends 3 months in old Burgundy barrels. 

Born in Lyon to Arabic heritage and raised in Morgon, Karim spent a decade working with Beaujolais legends Guy Breton and Marcel Lapierre before starting his own project as a négociant. He organically farms and vinifies 5 hectares of old-vine Gamay, using minimal sulphur and meticulous temperature control to preserve purity and fruit.
