A rare and ancient variety of the Loire, rarely seen these days. Not dissimilar to Chenin Blanc but with a distinct spicy character. The grapes come from their own vineyards in Montlouis so you can expect the mineral backbone that all of their wines carry but there is a real ripeness to it also. 50 year old vines gown on clay and limestone.
