“The 2022 Saint-Aubin Le Charmois 1er Cru is slightly more reductive than the preceding Champlots, with yellow plum,jasmine and broom scents. This is well-defined, the oak neatly embroidered into the aromatics. The palate is very well-balanced with a plush opening. Yellow plum commingles with blood orange, white pepper and a dab of lemongrass, fanning out gloriously towards the finish. One of my picks from the Domaine this year. Drinking window: 2025-2042. 92-94 points (Neal Martin, Vinous (01/24))
