An indigenous variety thought to originate in Mamoida. This vineyard is over a century old and owned by Giovanni’s Godfather. It spends 6 days on skins and stems, not to make the wine overly textural or oxidative but more to add depth and complexity, giving the wine a salty mineral edge. Aged for 8 months in barrel. Due to demand and scarcity, it can be hard to find these wines, even in Sardinia. We feel lucky to have them in on our shelves. 397 bottles made.
