Serious depth and warmth here. There's dark cherry and cassis, coffee and sandalwood. The palate is full and rich but balanced with fine tannins. The grapes are from the 2016 and 2019 harvest, selected from some of their oldest parcels (70+ year old vines). 

Founded in 1917, Domaine Viret is now run by its third generation, who since 1973 have developed “Cosmoculture”, a unique evolution of biodynamic farming that harnesses the natural energies of the land and cosmos. They have also placed standing stones and crystals at crucial sites of electromagnetic importance in their vineyards and cellar. Their vineyards feature rare grape varieties, experimental plantings, and energy-focused design, while winemaking combines modern vessels with traditional amphora, which they helped reintroduce in France.
