Grown on volcanic soils in the hills above Bassano del Grappa. Fermented spontaneously in stainless steel and aged in used French oak barriques. True to this indigenous variety, this had some rich earthy tones and a slight raisin character on the fruit. The tannins are approachable though and there is nice freshness which makes it rather moreish.
