Grown on volcanic soils layered with alluvial stones in the hills above Bassano del Grappa. Fermented spontaneously in stainless steel and aged in used French oak barriques, this is a wine that captures the grape’s natural energy while adding layers of texture and spice. Aromas of wild berries, crushed black pepper, and mountain herbs leap from the glass. On the palate, it’s fresh and savoury, with tangy redcurrant, dried cherry, and vibrant acidity giving lift and structure. Notes of black cherry, forest floor, and a hint of black tea linger on the finish, making Gaggion both distinctive and irresistibly drinkable. A wine with depth, personality, and a beautiful sense of place.
