A bold and beautifully crafted red, 121bc is a single-vineyard Carmenere grown on volcanic soils, and aged with patience and care. Fermented spontaneously in Austrian oak without temperature control, the wine matures for 36 months in barrel, followed by another year in bottle — a slow, natural evolution that brings depth and harmony. The result is a wine of striking intensity and balance. Aromas of violet, plum, and dark cherry compote are layered with hints of balsamic herbs, cocoa, and tobacco. Beneath that, there's a mineral core with notes of graphite, black pepper, turmeric, and subtle touches of blood and leather. On the palate, it’s rich yet refined, with polished tannins and a long, savoury finish that speaks of both place and craftsmanship.
