Chartreuse Yellow VEP is the rare, extended-ageing expression of Yellow Chartreuse, made by the Carthusian monks in France.
Made from a secret recipe of herbs, plants and botanicals, Yellow VEP is aged for many years in oak casks before being bottled at 42% ABV. The extended ageing gives the liqueur greater depth and richness than standard Yellow Chartreuse, while retaining its softer, sweeter and more delicate character.
Expect layers of honey, saffron, dried herbs, citrus peel, spice and gentle vanilla, with a rich, silky texture and remarkably long finish. Produced in limited quantities, Yellow Chartreuse VEP is highly sought after by collectors
