Les Grèves is one of Beaune’s most highly regarded Premier Crus, and Caroline Morey’s 2023 captures the site with a lovely combination of ripe red fruit, fine tannins and savoury depth. There’s a delicate floral character alongside raspberry, cherry and subtle spice, with a supple texture that makes the wine rather charming. 

The Morey family is better known for its white Burgundies, but Caroline’s red wines show the same precision and restraint. A beautifully balanced Beaune that is already drinking well, while having the structure to develop further in bottle.
