Lifted, perfumed Brunello with a dusty floral brightness. Dried strawberry, rose petals and citrus zest rise first, followed by tart raspberry and cherry, all carried on a fine, stony mineral thread that keeps the wine feeling precise rather than lush.
Stella di Campalto is one of Montalcino’s most singular estates, where viticulture is guided by a close, almost intimate reading of the land. Each vineyard is treated as its own living entity, and each wine is shaped as an expression of that place and season rather than a fixed idea of style. The estate’s approach is deeply patient, wines are only released when they feel ready, even if that means extended time in cellar.
From the 2019 vintage, Corso shows a more immediate, open-knit side of Sangiovese, yet never at the expense of structure. There is gentle tension beneath the perfume, with finely grained tannins and a long, persistent finish that moves into notes of sage and spiced herbal tea.
This is a Brunello defined by clarity and inner harmony rather than weight or force, already expressive, but built to unfold slowly over time.
