The incredibly hard land here meant that the estate’s \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003efirst sellable vintage wasn’t until 2002\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. All the sparkling wines are \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003enaturally re-fermented in bottle\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, the traditional technique of the region. Marco is also making an increasing amount of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003estill wines and ciders\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, experimenting more as he becomes comfortable with the processes.
